Partners
As a small business, we acknowledge that we cannot be all things to all people
and partnering with other organizations and individuals is essential.
But beyond this obvious realization, we see partnering as a critical element in
our long-term growth strategy. We have chosen to build our practice on
helping growing businesses utilize information technology to meet their
goals. To succeed and grow ourselves, we need quality partners who can
provide the full range of products and services that our clients demand.
Partnering is a two-way street, so further, we need partners who can
reciprocally benefit from affiliating with us. Presently, we have
secured or are in the process of fostering alliances with three general
categories of partners.
Our technology partners provide products and services that support the
hardware and network infrastructure. They also provide telecommunications,
and Web and application hosting services, as well as specialized services
such as Web site design and custom programming. We also count among our
technology partners other Best resellers and software application
consultants who can provide additional products and specialized services. Contact us to
find out more about technology partnering opportunities. We
have forged relationships with a number of CPA firms for obvious reasons.
We benefit by receiving referrals to their clients. The CPA firm benefits
by having a knowledgeable and proven technology consulting resource to meet
client needs. Best Software supports the program and offers additional
incentives for CPA firms to partner with us. To get a more complete description
of the CPA partnering program that we offer, go to the separate CPA
page. Small- and
mid-size businesses face huge challenges in the information age and much has to do
with using technology. But technology cannot magically transform a
business unless it is part of the overall business strategy. The need for
strategic business consulting is greater than ever. For example, having a
Web shopping site is relatively simple but the proper question is why is having
one important. Another fallacy is trying to implement technology without
ownership commitment and involvement, or when the basic components of
organization, management, and human resources are not in place. Imposing
technology without the requisite planning, commitment, and preparation will only hasten
a business failure. Business consultants who are not primarily technology oriented are invaluable in helping
businesses through the transition. We can complement the consultant by
providing specific knowledge and information about technology resources and
specific solutions, making the consultant's effort more productive and practical. |
